An understanding of how to collect data manually and from an external data source
Skill in monitoring data in real time using Plant Monitor and managing violations
The knowledge required to query and report data in a variety of formats
Familiarity with control tests and triggers

New users, individuals who will be the key contacts/administrators for WinSPC and any user of WinSPC who is interested in learning more about the software.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of SPC or the SPC Fundamentals class
Objectives of using WinSPC in your company

Day 1
Basics of WinSPC

Launching and logging in the software
Client-server character of WinSPC C/S

Setting up and creating:

Parts or processes
Variables and attributes
Tags
Blueprints
Collection plans

Collecting data

How to create and set up collection plans
Chart layout options
Manual data collection (i.e. using the keyboard)
Exercise I – Setup a part with variables, attribute, and tags.
Setup a collection plan and start collecting data using the keyboard
