Save time with WinSPC shortcutsUse the following shortcuts when you’re working in WinSPC to save yourself a few keystrokes or mouseclicks.

Select an item (part, collection plan, etc.) in the Administrator window and then use this shortcut to display that item’s Properties or Setup dialog box. |
| Ctrl+Alt+I |
Select an item in the Administrator window, Reports Tool, Query Tool or Navigator and then use this shortcut to display details about that item such as the variables or attributes included in it. (This shortcut functions identically to the F9 shortcut below.) |
| Ctrl+F |
Use this shortcut in the Administrator window to display the Find Item dialog box so a search for a variable, attribute or other item can be done. |
| F1 |
Use this shortcut in most any window to launch WinSPC’s comprehensive Help system. |
| F2 |
Select a cell containing a value of some kind and then use this shortcut to insert the cursor into the cell so the value can be edited. |
| F3 |
Use this shortcut to repeat the last search specified in the Administrator window’s Find Item dialog box. |
| F5 |
Use this shortcut to launch the Navigator from the Administrator window. |
| F6 |
Use this shortcut in the Administrator window, Data Collection window or Navigator to display the Data Collection by Item dialog box. (The Data Collection by Item dialog box is a tool to facilitate data collection for a variable or attribute outside of a collection plan. Its use is outlined in WinSPC’s Help system.) |

Select an item (e.g. part, collection plan) in the Administrator window, Reports Tool, Query Tool or Navigator and then use this shortcut to display details about that item such as the variables or attributes included in it. (This shortcut functions identically to the Ctrl+Alt+I shortcut above.) |
| F10 |
Use this shortcut to activate the menu bar of a window. Doing this allows users to access menu options on a computer that doesn’t have a mouse. |

Right-mouseclick nearly any item in any window to display a shortcut menu of options commonly selected for that item. |
