Quickly Find a Part, Variable, Collection Plan or Other Item in WinSPC

Instead of scanning through long lists of parts, variables, collection plans to locate a particular item, use WinSPC's Find Item feature to find it for you. To do this:

1. In the Administrator window press Ctrl+F or select Find from the Edit menu. This causes a Find Item dialog box to be displayed.




2. In this dialog box, at Name of item to find, enter a partial or complete item name.
3. Under Item Types To Find, check the check box(es) for the type(s) of item you want to find.
4. Click OK. WinSPC scans the dataase for items that match the criteria you specified and highlights the first matching item it finds.
5. To highlight the next matching item, press F3  or select Search Again from the Administrator window's Edit menu. After the last of the matching items has been highlighted, pressing F3 causes a message to be displayed indicating WinSPC's database search is complete.
