Sixty years of shop-floor experience

DataNet was formed in 1997 by the Detroit Gauge Group, a family of gaging and test equipment manufacturers. For over 60 years, The Detroit Gauge Group worked with quality teams on the shop-floor, building and integrating devices to measure and improve product and process quality.

This 60-year legacy influences everything we do. As a result, our products and services are engineered to work within the shop-floor manufacturing paradigm--to provide manufacturers with intelligent, yet simple tools that significantly impact manufacturing quality and profitability.

To support this vision, DataNet products must:

  • Be easy to use for shop-floor operators
  • Work within a real-time environment
  • Provide advanced statistical analysis
  • Connect to a variety of data sources; gages, CMMs, CNCs, PLCs, etc.
  • Be easy to administer and maintain by a non-technical staff
  • Seemlessly integrate with a variety of manufacturing systems
