Platform Requirements

Database server minimum requirements
  • Server Class processor - 800MHz
  • 512 MB available RAM
  • 10 GB available local hard disk space (beyond operating system recommended space)
  • VGA monitor and video adapter
  • Keyboard
  • Mouse or other pointing device
  • CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive

WinSPC client requirements
  • PC with Pentium II Class processor - 500MHz
  • 512 MB  RAM for a typical Windows Vista Business Station -or-
  • 256 MB RAM for a typical Windows XP Pro or Winsows 200 Pro
  • 200MB available local hard disk space (beyond operating system recommended space)
  • VGA monitor and video adapter
  • Keyboard
  • Mouse or other pointing device
  • CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive (if installing WinSPC from the WinSPC CD as opposed to the web download)

WinSPC Teminal Services deployment requirements
WinSPC is optimized for deployment via Windows Terminal Services. For complete information download the PDF brochure on deploying WinSPC via Terminal Services.

The absence of an operating system or database server from the list below means that operating system or database server was not tested in DataNet's quality assurance lab. It does not mean that the operating system or database server is known to be incompatible with WinSPC. DataNet will do its best to support implementations using configurations other than those listed below.
