WinSPC was designed to be integrated with a variety of manufacturing systems, hardware and devices. It offers a built-in API to communicate with other systems and devices using over 400 methods and properties of OLE. WinSPC also communicates bi-directionally with other systems, software and devices via OPC (Version 1, 2, and 3), DDE, serial, and ODBC.

DataNet provides support for hosting WinSPC Version 7.2 and later on a server and emulating WinSPC on Microsoft Windows clients using Microsoft Windows Terminal Services (WTS) on Windows 2003 server (SP1) or above. Automatic disconnect feature enables teams to continue to collect data in the event of a network or database failure
If the network or database fails, WinSPC continues to collect data locally. Once the system is back online, WinSPC will automatically connect and synchronizes data client-side data to the central database. This makes WinSPC the preferred solution for companies that depend on SPC software in a production environment.

Standard relational database stores all system data (MS-SQL or Oracle SQL) on a central server
All system data and application data are stored securely and centrally in a single database. This includes passwords, configurations, audit trail documentation, and all application data.
