DataNet Quality Systems Introduces WinSPC v1.2 at ISA Expo98

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.and Mountain View, Calif.—Oct. 19, 1998-- DataNet Quality Systems, manufacturer of WinSPC Statistical process control software, announced today that it will premiere WinSPC v1.2 at the ISA Expo 98 in Houston, Texas, on October 19-22, WinSPC C/S Enterprise is designed for medium-to large companies that need to link multiple, dispersed quality control operations into a fully integrated SPC information flow serving the entire enterprise in real-time.

The initial version of WinSPC C/S Enterprise won the ISA Tech 97 President's Award for Most Innovative Technology Product. It introduced the concept of "closed loop" intelligent feedback to operators and machines for automated corrective action. Version 1.2 includes "closed loop" control, as well as new performance and ease-of-use features such as batch report generation, failsafe data collection, zero administration upgrading, compreshensive OLE Automation controls and OLE for Process Control, and dynamic creation of parts and processes from design specifications. In addition, WinSPC C/S Enterprise is now integrated with STATGRAPHICS Plus for comined SPC and Statistical Quality Analysis on an enterprise-wide scale.

WinSPC C/S Enterprise Version 1.2 introduces important new capabilities including:

A Batch Report Generator for printing user-definable reports and charts periodically or on-demand for production monitoring, management reporting or customer compliance documentation.

Compliance features including electronic signature verification and robust audit trail tracking of creation and change of design models for ISO/QS/FDA compliance.

The ability to dynamically create part and process definitions from design models entered into other SQL applications such as ERP/MRP/MES.
