DataNet Quality Systems Continues to Grow Its Quality Control Software Business
SPC software manufacturer adds new talent to growing departments
SOUTHFIELD, Mich.-November 8, 2007 -- DataNet Quality Systems, manufacturer of WinSPC® and QualTrend® quality improvement software, announced today that it has brought on board three new people to expand its sales and quality assurance departments.
Joe Shaver joined DataNet's sales department as a senior sales executive. He is responsible for establishing new customer relationships for the company's products and services and will build new business opportunities with existing customers.
Joe was formerly the business development manager at the EDS Virtual Reality Center, a division of EDS Engineering and Manufacturing Services in Troy, Michigan. He spent 19 years at EDS in various sales, business development, program management and consulting roles. Joe holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University. He also has been awarded a patent as a co-inventor of a supply chain intelligence application.
Chris Hays rejoined DataNet as a quality assurance lead in the QA department where he is responsible for validating WinSPC software releases. Chris was a quality assurance lead for DataNet from 1999-2002 and recently returned to the company to expand, manage and enhance DataNet's SPC software quality assurance processes and procedures.
Jamie Brown's technical writing services have been contracted by DataNet to support the documentation department. Currently, she is responsible for maintaining quality documents such as WinSPC user guides and the context-sensitive help system. Jamie also manages the monthly DataNet Quality Systems newsletter which includes articles written by SPC experts as well as provides WinSPC user tips and answers to common support desk questions.
Formerly, Jamie was a clinical packaging quality assurance scientist at the Global Research and Development division of Pfizer Corporation in Ann Arbor, MI. She spent six years in the pharmaceutical industry in quality assurance, validation and documentation control roles. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Alma College and is enjoying life as a newly-wed.
