DataNet Quality Systems Announces Release of WinSPC C/S v1.62


SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--August 2, 2004– DataNet Quality Systems announces the release of its latest version of Statistical Process Control (SPC) software, WinSPC C/S v1.62.

Already the easiest real-time SPC software to configure and use, WinSPC C/S v1.62 includes several new features to help users improve their SPC data collection operations:
  • Dynamic Plant Monitoring – Provides a dashboard screen to dynamically monitor all data collection operations throughout the plant, automatically building/removing dashboard entries based upon user-definable activity levels
  • Improved Archiving – Permits users to schedule archives that will automate management of database size by archiving and deleting data older than “n” days
  • Expanded Data Collection Options – Enhanced ability for users to issue SQL commands to retrieve data from existing databases for analysis; includes automated scheduling to regularly pull data from external sources
  • Improved Custom Web Reporter – Simplified report configuration and generation; expanded capabilities for hundreds of existing charting and graphics, including data tips on bar charts, colored and filled contours on XY plots, and multidirectional sorting of data
